Michael Harrison

CEO

Michael has deep roots in Indonesia, where he has worked and lived for more than 25 years, giving him a unique understanding of the cultural, regulatory and political climate. He is experienced in negotiations of mineral property acquisition and with government authorities in Indonesia. He has 35 years of investment banking experience with interests in resource, energy, and biotechnology sectors. Michael has served as CEO of two Indonesian mining companies that developed major resources, resulting in successful exits totaling in excess of $1 billion. He has served on the board of directors for numerous international publicly listed companies and is personally responsible for raising more than $1 billion in funding in the mineral resource and energy sector.

Gary O'Connor

president

Gary has spent more than 35 years investing in and developing natural resource projects around the world. He has unique experience in Indonesia, serving as exploration manager from 1990 to 2000 for Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold in Indonesia, during which he oversaw the discovery of the 12-million-plus-ounce Wabu Gold skarn deposit. He has held senior leadership positions, including vice-president of Dundee Resources, from 2007 to 2017. Gary is also an expert in due diligence and globally respected for his work in this area. He is currently CEO of Moneta Porcupine Mines, now developing the Golden Highway Gold project in Ontario, Canada.

Hans Maramis

Director

Hans is a seasoned business executive and respected Indonesian financier, with decades of experience in natural resource projects throughout Indonesia and Southeast Asia. He invests in a wide range of industries, serving in senior executive and advisory positions.His current roles involve some of Indonesia’s major companies, including: senior advisor to PT Buana Jati Lestari, an appointment he accepted in 2011; Commissioner to PT Sarida Utama, since 2009; President Director of PT Hansa Mitra, since 2003; and Commissioner of PT Cipta Mortar Utama since 1996. Other roles include senior advisory roles at: PT Iroda Mitra, an infrastructure development company for Indonesia, as well as a marketing/trading agency for the oil and gas industries and engineering; PT Inti Jatam Pura, an oil and gas trading company representing American oil supply companies such as Braker Hughes; and PT Hansa Lestari, a water treatment and distribution engineering company, working with Generale Des Eaux, later Vivendi.  Hans lives in Jakarta, where he also takes part in many philanthropic activities.

Edward Cheung

Finance/Investor Relations

Edward is based in Hong Kong and brings a deep knowledge of Southeast Asia.  He has over 20 years experience in Equity and Derivatives Sales Trading at investment banks in London, Singapore, Seoul and Hong Kong. He has held positions at JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, RBS and most recently as Asia-Pacific head of listed derivatives trading for the Asia markets at State Street Bank & Trust. Since moving to Asia in 1998 he has been in sales & trading for Asia Pacific equities, derivatives, and IPOs, dealing specifically with institutions, asset managers, hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds.

Alnesh Mohan

CFO

Alnesh Mohan has over 20 years of accounting, auditing, and tax experience providing advisory services to a wide array of companies.  Acting on behalf of several public companies, Alnesh has acquired considerable experience in financial reporting, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.  Alnesh is currently CFO of Highbury Projects Inc., Twyford Ventures Inc., and Premier Diversified Holdings Inc., all listed on the TSX Venture Exchange as well as Western Resources Corp, listed on the TSX Exchange.  He is also director of Premier Diversified Holdings Inc. and HealthSpace Data Systems Ltd. and VSBLTY Groupe Technologies Inc., both listed on the CSE.

Dan Bowman

Director - General Council

Dan has been resident in Indonesia for 30 years. After graduating from Georgetown University, Dan spent 40 years as legal and tax counsel for the world’s largest oil company, Saudi Aramco, senior vice president for Indonesia’s largest mining company, PT Freeport Indonesia and head of Indonesia’s largest food catering company, PT PangansariUtama. He currently contributes his expertise in law, tax, respectful stakeholder engagement, and technical project management to three businesses in the trading and mining services sectors.  Dan passionately believes that a proper mining project brings a win-win-win solution to the local community, government and investors.

Joe MacPherson

Director - Geology

Joe has been resident in Indonesia for 27 years. After graduating in 1980 from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Canada, he has worked primarily in gold and base metals exploration in Canada, Africa, and SE Asia. After a career with Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold affiliate PT Freeport Indonesia spanning 23 years, Joe now operates a Mining Services Business company in Indonesia, providing Geological and Logistics Support Services to the Exploration and Mining Industry. Along with significant contributions to the development of the Wabu Gold Project in Papua, Indonesia, Joe has a strong management background in the Mining Industry and extensive experience in the evaluation of metals mining and exploration opportunities world-wide.

David Smalley

David Smalley has been a corporate and securities lawyer focused on assisting mineral exploration companies for the last two decades.  For 30 years David has been a director and officer of private companies and public companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange.  He was a founder, director, and officer of Canaco Resources Inc., a director of Scorpio Gold Corp., a director of Fabled Copper Corp. and founder of Avidian Gold Corp. David has a B.A. degree from University of Victoria and a LL.B. degree from University of British Columbia.  He was called to the bar of the Law Society of British Columbia in 1989.  David enjoys helping startup companies to get organized, obtain their funding, and, where applicable, to assist companies onto a public listing.

Peter Hawley

Director

Peter Hawley, founder of producer Scorpio Mining Corporation (renamed Americas Silver Corporation), served as CEO of that company from 1998 until November 2010, and served as a Director till May 2019. From 2010 to Oct 2016 he served as CEO of producer Scorpio Gold, another company he founded. He remains Chair of the company. He has over 35 years of mining industry experience that spans grassroots exploration through to development and production, and has worked extensively with a large number of intermediate and senior mining companies including Teck, Noranda, Placer Dome, and Barrick Gold. Mr. Hawley is also highly experienced in private and public company financing and corporate administration.
